OpenRDA for Wonderware

Open Database Connectivity (ODBC), a SQL-based specification developed by Microsoft, defines a standard interface for any desktop application to send and receive SQL statements to a data source containing data. Widely used desktop application tools such as word processors, spreadsheets and application development tools are ODBC enabled and provide a means of easily bringing data from ODBC-compliant data sources.

The OpenRDA Driver makes the Wonderware historical database ODBC compliant, without any changes to your Wonderware database and without requiring a third-party relational database. This Driver will allow you to use virtually any software product that is ODBC compliant with your Wonderware data. Since it is a client/server solution, you can access the Wonderware database from anywhere within your enterprise, even over the Internet.
