Q1 Does OpenAccess ODBC driver work with ODBC
.NET Provider?
Yes, it is working fine. We tested using ODBC .NET Provider (Beta
1). You should have OpenAccess ODBC driver 4.8 and above. Otherwise
it will give exception during DataReader.Close() method.
Q2 Does OpenAccess OLE DB provider work with
OLE DB .NET Provider?
Yes, it is working fine. We tested using OLE DB .NET Provider (Beta
2). Please download OLE_DB_and_NET.pdf
for instructions.
Q3 How to use OpenAccess .NET Provider?
Please follow instructions in this document OA_NET_SDK.pdf.
Q4 Data Adapter Configuration Wizard is
not working with OpenAccess OLE DB Provider.
Microsoft found that this was a bug in ADO.NET and provided us
a HotFix for this bug. They will be releasing Q325790 KB article
on there web site or you can call Microsoft support at 1-800-936-5800
and ask them that you need fix for Q325790 KB article.
